DEEP TISSUE

A therapeutic massage with focus on specific problem areas. This massage is aimed at releasing tension in the deeper tissue structures of the muscle and fascia.  It similar to a Swedish massage , but the pressure is generally more intense.  It is great for helping to  release stuck, knotted tissue.

NEUROMUSCULAR THERAPY/ SPORTS MASSAGE

A therapeutic massage geared towards the improving performance and muscle recovery of the everyday or professional athlete that includes cross-fiber friction, deep pressure techniques, and trigger-point therapy.

 

SWEDISH

This is a basic massage used primarily for relaxation.  This  form of massage incorporates the use of gentle, long, smooth-flowing strokes.  It improves circulation, relaxes tired muscles and tension, improves flexibility and creates overall relaxation.

 

MANUEL LYMPHATIC DRAINAGE (MLD)

A slow, gentle hands-on technique that involves gentle skin stretching that manually aids the movement of lymph fluid throughout the body. It does Not work into muscular tissue.  MLD encourages the lymphatic system to function more efficiently.  It is especially helpful after cosmetic/plastic surgery procedures to reduce swelling, inflammation, and pain.

 

PRE-NATAL

This very gentle form of massage is designed for the mother-to-be. Massage is especially needed during pregnancy to help reduce muscle fatigue, cramping, and stiffness. It also helps to remedy the normal pregnancy discomforts such as backaches, stiff neck, sciatica, and headaches.

 

HOT STONE

An ancient native American technique that uses heated black basalt stones to massage the body. The heated stones create a deeply relaxing experience which helps to detoxify and melt away stress from the body.

CORPORATE CHAIR MASSAGE

Chair massage focuses on the neck, shoulders, and back.   It is performed fully clothed in a special chair  without oil or creams. Studies have shown that as little as 10 minutes of chair massage increases productivity in the workplace, reduces stress and helps boost morale. It makes a wonderful treat for your employees!!!
